Privacy Policy
Written to be read. What this website collects, what we do with it, and how to make us stop.
The short version
We ask for an address and a way to reach you so we can make you an offer. We use it for that. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to other house buyers, and you can ask us to delete it. Everything below is the same statement with the details filled in.
What you give us
The offer form asks for the property address, your name and a phone number. An email address and a note about the situation are optional. That is the entire form. We do not ask on this website for a social security number, bank details, or anything that would support a credit check, and we do not run one to give you a number.
What the site collects on its own
Standard server logs – IP address, browser and device, which pages were requested and when – which exist for security and for working out what broke when something breaks. Functional cookies for caching and for the form to submit. Nothing on this site tries to identify you across other websites.
What we do with it
Prepare and send your offer. Answer your questions. Keep a record of what was offered and agreed. Run and defend the website. If you become a seller, meet the record-keeping that a property transaction requires. That is the complete list of purposes.
Who it is shared with
Our email and hosting providers, because the message has to travel somewhere. The title or escrow company, if you decide to sell to us. Anyone the law obliges us to tell. Each of them gets the minimum needed to do their part. We are not a lead generator: your enquiry is not sold, brokered or forwarded to a network of other buyers.
Analytics and advertising
We may run standard measurement tools – the Google Analytics and Google Ads family is the usual case – to see how people find the site and whether advertising is working. Where those are active they set their own cookies and receive technical information about your visit under their own terms. Tools get added and dropped over time, so this section names the category rather than pretending to be a live inventory of tags. Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop the site working.
How long it is kept
An enquiry is kept while it is live and afterwards as a record that an offer was made. Where a sale completes, the transaction records are kept for as long as property and tax rules require. Ask us to delete an enquiry we are not required to keep and we will.
Your rights
Ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email info@sellmyhousefastchandler.com and say which one. We answer within a reasonable time and we do not charge for it. Where privacy law gives you further rights, you have those too.
Children
This site is for adults selling property. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes, and how to reach a person
If our practice changes this page changes with it and the date at the top moves; no policy applies before it appears here. Questions go to info@sellmyhousefastchandler.com.
